Oleg Sarkits was born in Donbas. He built a successful career and business in Europe, but returned to Kyiv before the full-scale Russian invasion. Worked purposefully to attract foreign investments to Ukraine.

Oleg was born in 1988 in Mariupol. As a teenager, he moved with his parents to Denmark. He received his first higher education at the «Kyiv University of Trade and Economics», where he received diplomas in law and economics. He also earned a master's degree in management at the «International Institute of Management» (MIM-Kyiv) and a master's degree in business administration (Executive MBA). He speaks three foreign languages: English, Danish and Italian. He started his career during his student years. Subsequently, he received an invitation to work from a leading European company engaged in the production and trading of metal products, where he opened new sales markets for the company. Later, he founded several companies in the fields of retail trade, construction, trade and alternative energy. Before the second wave of Russian aggression, he began to develop a chain of grocery stores throughout Ukraine. He lives permanently in Kyiv with his family. Married, father of two little Ukrainian girls.

After a large-scale invasion, he joined the volunteer formation No. 24 «Livyi Bereh» of the 112th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, Kyiv, and together with like-minded people founded the charity fund «DoMrii». In addition, within the volunteer group, he founded the «Fearless» project, designed to cover the needs of individual units of the Armed Forces.

In the framework of volunteer activities, together with the team, he systematically delivers material aid to the front line. The aid is aimed at the population and special military bodies. Therefore, Oleg maintains direct contact with the fighters at «ground zero» and regularly helps to cover their urgent needs. He has been awarded by the special defense and security services for his assistance in countering russian aggression.

The activities of the charitable project «DoMrii» are aimed at systematic material and technical support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as special military and law enforcement agencies. It is about the purchase and delivery to the front of military ammunition, means of protection, communication, intelligence and food. The fund also provides humanitarian assistance to victims in the de-occupied territories, assistance to medical institutions in providing medicines, as well as to IDPs. Since the beginning of the creation of the charity project and until October 2024, more than 53 million UAH of aid has been transferred, more than 200 tons of humanitarian aid have been sent.

In addition, Oleg Sarkits is one of the founders of the charity project «Volodari Neba» - an initiative to raise funds for the production of FPV drones for units of the Armed Forces. It is about the production of high-quality drones on the basis of Ukrainian companies, at the price of the cost of components.

Within the framework of this project, a special school for the military has been opened to improve qualification skills in controlling FPV drones.

As a result of active charitable activities, many requests were received for solving social, humanitarian, economic and regional problems. And Oleg Sarkits created the non-governmental organization «Narodna Mriya» precisely to expand the possibilities of assistance.

In order to technologically support the state's energy supply, he and his partner, Spiral Energy LLC, developed and received an international patent for the production of a spiral-bucket hydroturbine to solve problems with electricity for the population. The systematic production of this turbine will create conditions for meeting the population's needs for electricity. Currently, it is planned to implement several pilot projects in different regions of Ukraine. Currently, the company's team is working on the implementation of the project at the state level, as a national project.
